Entry-Level Mechanical Repair Technician . You will be responsible for performing complete operation checkouts, modifications and repair correction of problems. You will have the opportunity to repair critical components that make flying possible and safe for you, your loved ones, and for travelers around the world. What You Will Do

Work Onsite at our Sana Fe Springs, CA Location

Work Hours Monday – Friday (5:30am-2pm) with occasional overtime work.

Conduct inspection of incoming assemblies and components according to procedures and technical data.

Set up repair and test facilities.

Test and calibrate parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications.

Repair units that fail test or tolerance levels.

Assemble fabricated parts, components, or units at floor stations.

Use hand and power tools for part and component assembly.

Ensure short cycle time repairs and returns ensuring quality processes.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Typically a High School diploma or GED is required.

Preferred Qualifications

Basic computer skills for documenting repairs and following work instructions.

Basic experience operating hand tools, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and test equipment.

Experience with measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, height gauge, hydraulic gauges, etc.

Accurately read and interpret blueprints and overhaul manuals for assembly purposes.

This position is considered safety sensitive in accordance with FAA Guidelines. Candidate will be subject to drug and alcohol testing per FAA’s regulation 14 CFR part 120, as well as 49 CFR part 40.

The salary range for this role is $40,770 to $65,000.00. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

As part of our commitment to maintaining a secure hiring process, candidates may be asked to attend selective interview steps in person at one of our office locations, regardless of whether the role is designated as onsite, hybrid or remote.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
