Recruitment Consultant - Renewable Engineering
Base pay range $100,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr Note: Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more. Responsibilities: Develop and review civil and structural drawings, specifications, and calculations, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards (NEC, IEC, UL, local permitting). Support design efforts for grading, drainage, erosion control, stormwater management, and structural components such as beams, columns, slabs, and foundations. Analyze structural loads (dead, live, wind, seismic) and contribute to cost-effective, durable design solutions. Review vendor documentation and provide feedback to ensure alignment with project requirements. Conduct site visits to verify construction quality and adherence to design and safety standards. Collaborate across disciplines to maintain effective communication and coordination throughout project phases. Assist with preconstruction and proposal activities, including cost estimation, quantity takeoffs, and manpower planning. Evaluate renewable energy technologies and propose innovative solutions to enhance project outcomes. Provide procurement and general project support as needed, including tasks assigned by the executive team. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, or related Engineering field. 2-4 years of experience in the electrical utility or renewable energy sector; construction experience preferred. Proficiency in civil/structural design techniques, especially for solar PV, BESS, and substation projects. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Adobe; experience with Bluebeam, MicroStation, Procore, Revit, and PVSyst is a plus. OSHA safety training preferred; occasional travel required.
