We are seeking an
Electronics Technician 3
to join our
Security and Electronic Systems (SES)
business unit. As part of
SES , you will be part of a team that designs, engineers, integrates, operates, and maintains electronic security services including intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, video surveillance, audio-visual systems, IT systems, perimeter defense, and command and control systems for federal, local, and commercial customers across high-growth markets. Responsibilities In this role, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining electronic security systems, performing preventive maintenance, inspections, evaluations, and inventory management. Essential responsibilities include but are not limited to: Leading teams on small to moderately complex installation projects. Conducting and documenting daily toolbox talks. Installing all head-end equipment at local and global levels according to design packages. Programming head-end equipment for access control, intrusion detection, and CCTV systems. Troubleshooting and isolating system and hardware issues at local and global levels. Providing on-site software commissioning and testing. Performing inspections, evaluations, and inventory management. Qualifications Clearance/Citizen Type:
No clearance required. Position / Candidate Requirements Valid driver's license required. Position may require use of a company vehicle; candidates must have an acceptable driving record. Education: HS diploma or GED, or Military Electronics Training (minimum 720 hours), or Graduation from an accredited Electronics Technician program, or Graduation from an Electrical Apprenticeship program, or Additional 3 years of electronics installation/maintenance experience. Experience: 6+ years in electronics installation and/or maintenance across multiple systems and customer programs. At least 3 years focused on electronic security systems. Strong communication skills, team experience, time management, and organization skills. Proficiency with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint is a plus. Up to 25% travel required. Desired Qualifications Vendor certifications in IDS, ACS, CCTV systems. Experience with Identiv/Hirsch Velocity, Bosch systems, and Windows OS certifications. CCURE experience preferred. Abilities Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly, demonstrate physical stamina, and follow safety protocols. Ability to relocate a 12-foot ladder without assistance. Work at heights up to 60 feet, climb scaffolds, and ladders. Perform physical tasks such as walking, climbing, lifting, and reaching. Good vision and hearing, ability to communicate effectively in English. Recognize problems and apply general rules to specific issues.
