Job Title: Production Associate
Job Department: Manufacturing
Location: Newark, CA
Job Overview: Production Associate sets up and operates production machines and equipment. Reports to the Production Supervisor.
Salary Range $18.00/hr – $26.00/hr
Primary Job Responsibilities
Overall operation of assigned production line/unit (assembly, etc.)
Ability to manually hand solder electronic components.
Setup, read, and understand setup sheets, assembly instructions, and notes.
Execute written and verbal instructions from supervisor, monitoring efficiency and quality.
Read and follow work instructions and visual aids.
Check and inspect task results against predetermined standards.
Identify, communicate, and elevate production issues and problems.
Perform other duties related to the Production Operator.
Key Requirements and Qualifications
Minimum education: High school diploma or GED.
Basic understanding of IPC.
Minimum 3 years work experience in a manufacturing production environment.
Ability to occasionally lift up to 15 pounds.
Ability to stand through an eight‑hour shift with mandatory rest and lunch breaks.
Ability to work flexible overtime when needed.
Preferred Education and Experience
High school diploma.
Minimum 1 year work experience in manufacturing production environment.
