Job Summary LifeLine EMS, a leading ambulance service transport provider, is seeking a detail‑oriented and reliable Vehicle Supply Technician to join our team. Your responsibilities will include stocking, fueling, and cleaning ambulances to ensure they are ready for service, as well as maintaining accurate records of medical and operational supplies using Operative IQ.
Essential Functions
Restock all medical and operational supplies in ambulances according to company standards and protocols
Conduct regular inventory checks using Operative IQ, ensuring all items are accounted for and within expiration dates
Accurately document supply usage, shortages, and replenishments in Operative IQ
Order and receive supplies as needed, maintaining par levels for all vehicles
Fuel ambulances and support vehicles as required, ensuring they are ready for deployment at all times
Clean and disinfect vehicle interiors and exteriors, including patient compartments, driver areas, and equipment storage
Remove and properly dispose of biohazardous waste and used materials according to safety protocols
Ensure all vehicles meet safety, cleanliness, and regulatory standards before returning to service
Participate in compliance audits and implement corrective actions as directed
Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
Collaborate with EMTs, paramedics, and fleet staff to address vehicle or supply issues
Report vehicle or equipment concerns promptly to supervisors
Support a positive work environment and represent the company professionally
Compliance & Safety
Review paperwork for accuracy and correct process
Participate in scheduled and unscheduled onsite compliance audits
Implement corrective/preventive measures as determined by the Corporate Compliance/Audit Committee
Cooperate with Internal Audit, Compliance, and People Operations on recommendations and changes to compliance and legal workflow issues
Take swift and immediate action in accordance with Internal Audit and Corporate Compliance on any areas of concern
Comply and enforce all policies and procedures
Have successfully completed all required Compliance Training within the required time period
Have had no compliance‑related corrective action during the current review period
Participate in Safety and Risk training and activities
Serve as a company representative promoting positive customer relationships through proactive involvement in public business and community activities
Ensure that all safety and regulatory standards are met at all times
Be a steward of safety, operating safely in an environment free from danger and risk
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Qualifications
Experience with inventory management systems (Operative IQ preferred)
Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
Effective communication and teamwork abilities
Education, Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
High school diploma or GED required
Physical Requirements
Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
Frequently required to climb or balance and taste or smell
Must regularly lift and/or move up to 100 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
Must have close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
Work Environment
Regularly exposed to various extreme weather conditions
Frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts
Frequently exposed to high, precarious places
Frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles
Frequently exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals
Frequently exposed to the risk of electrical shock and vibration
Frequently exposed to biohazard and infectious waste
Occasionally exposed to the risk of radiation
