Summary
The primary function of a
Manufacturing Engineer 3
is to apply engineering theory and principles to solve problems in industrial layout and manufacturing production, with a specific focus on
Battery, Drive Unit, and Power Electronics
systems. This role requires a strong ability to read, interpret, and create engineering drawings and blueprints, and to drive efficiency and quality improvements across production operations.
Key Responsibilities
Process Analysis & Efficiency: Study time, motion, methods, and speed involved in maintenance, production, and other operations to establish standard production rates and identify opportunities for efficiency improvement. Prepare charts, graphs, and diagrams to clearly illustrate workflow, routing, floor layouts, material handling processes, and machine utilization. Aid in planning work assignments based on worker performance, machine capacity, production schedules, and anticipated delays.
Quality & Standards: Interpret engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, or formulas, and confer with management or engineering staff to establish and enforce rigorous quality and reliability standards. Review worker logs, product processing sheets, and specification sheets to verify that production records adhere to quality assurance specifications.
Technical Documentation & Communication: Make sketches, engineering drawings, and perform common computations as required. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports effectively.
Required Skills
Technical Proficiency: Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports. Previous experience with
Computer Aided Design (CAD)
and other software related to the engineering field is essential.
Analytical & Problem-Solving: Demonstrated
creativity, analytical, and problem-solving ability
to resolve complex manufacturing issues.
Communication: Excellent
verbal and written communication skills
for collaborating with diverse teams and presenting findings.
Interpersonal: Must be a proactive
team player
with a strong
detail-oriented
approach.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
Experience: 5-7 years of professional experience in a relevant field is required.
