Job Description:
The Maintenance Supervisor will supervise skilled trades employees supporting production processes, automation, and controls of manufacturing operations. They will plan project operations and establish priorities.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Coordinate activities according to World Class Manufacturing (WCM) standards.
Manage the operation and training of the plant's Total Maintenance System (TMS), OEMs, and plant schedules.
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of industrial automation experience with project management skills.
Ability to work any shift and overtime as needed.
Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills to interface with employees at all levels, from hourly workers to senior leadership.
Ability to build effective relationships with plant leadership and customers.
Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Goal-oriented self-starter with leadership abilities.
Ability to coach and develop skilled trade employees.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Preferred Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a technical or engineering field.
Experience with continuous improvement systems and lean manufacturing.
Experience leading maintenance teams in a union environment.
Green Belt/Red X/Six Sigma training.
Knowledge of controls, robotics, drives, communication systems, sealing, glass cell systems, conveyance systems, welding, painting, vision systems, and sensors.
Familiarity with WCM pillar methodology.
Good knowledge of Google Suite.
Willingness to work different shifts, weekends, and overtime.
Ability to work in hot/cold environments and around heavy equipment.
Willing to wear safety gear and work in confined spaces.
Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 40 pounds, climb ladders, and crawl under equipment.
Strong verbal communication skills and team-oriented mindset.
Valid driver's license.
Education:
High School Diploma or GED.
