dynamic commercial construction firm
in the Triangle that’s redefining what a modern GC looks like. The company is growing quickly and looking for a
Preconstruction Manager (or experienced Estimator)
to join their collaborative team and help lead preconstruction efforts across a wide range of commercial projects.

What You’ll Do
Lead the
preconstruction process
— from estimating and budgeting to strategic planning and bid coordination.
Review
blueprints, specs, and proposals
to develop accurate, competitive estimates.
Collaborate closely with
clients, design teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
to align project scope, cost, and goals.
Perform detailed
quantity take-offs
and manage proposal submissions.
Analyze and compare
subcontractor bids
to ensure full coverage and scope accuracy.
Serve as a
trusted advisor
to clients, helping them make informed preconstruction decisions.
Support
project handoff and execution , ensuring smooth transitions to field teams.
What You Bring
5+ years
of experience in estimating or preconstruction for commercial construction projects.
In-depth knowledge of
construction materials, building codes, and project planning .
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Collaborative mindset — able to thrive in a close-knit, team-first environment.
Experience with
Procore, BlueBeam, and ProEst
preferred (or similar tools).
