RF Test Engineer, Radar Systems
position responsibilities include technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses cover all levels from concept to disposal, ensuring customer requirements are translated into hardware and software specifications. Essential Job Responsibilities
Perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Ensure logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions within technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Conduct functional analysis, timeline analysis, trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. Minimum Qualifications
2 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; or 0 years experience with Masters in related field. Interest in either Radar or Electronic Warfare System design and/or testing. Tasking includes RF chain analysis and radar system performance analysis, and all aspects of test execution. Interest in EW and Radar Signal Processing Techniques, Sensor System Integration and Test, and Electronic Warfare and Radar Performance Analysis Tools such as MATLAB is required. Hands-on test, integration, and verification support across lab facilities requiring skills in algorithms, software, hardware, and networking. Support technical publications in developing for customer releases test planning, test procedures, and test reports. Support technical and functional leadership through the identification of risk. Must be willing to travel for extended periods of time (typically two to three weeks). Must be able to bend, reach, stoop and lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able and willing to work outside in adverse weather conditions. Clearance
Must be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance with advanced security checks Secret clearance minimum to start Physical Requirements
