Precast Design Engineer – Civil/Structural

What You’ll Do As a Precast Design Engineer
Lead and execute precast engineering and design tasks efficiently.
Collaborate with project teams to deliver structurally sound, cost‑effective and visually appealing precast concrete designs.
Perform and review structural analysis and calculations to ensure safety under various loads and conditions.
Select materials and components for precast concrete production that meet strength, durability and sustainability standards.
Create accurate drawings, plans and specifications for precast projects aligned with industry design standards.
Support cost estimation for materials.
Support Project Managers and Designers throughout the project lifecycle.
Promote, utilize and support QA/QC processes to guarantee quality deliverables.
Guide and mentor junior staff.

Salary Range $83,000‑$105,000, plus signing bonus
Requirements
B.S. degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, Master’s preferred
5‑10 years minimum precast concrete design engineering experience
Experience in precast concrete design engineering for transportation infrastructure and underground structures (utility vaults, manholes, drainage structures and pump stations) preferred
Familiarity with ACI 318, ACI 350, ASCE‑7, AASHTO
Familiarity with IBC codes a plus
Professional Engineering License (PE) preferred or ability to obtain it
Proficiency in AutoCAD & RISA 3D
