As an AIRCRAFT PNEUDRAULIC SYSTEMS MECHANIC, WG-8268-10, you will: Perform leak checks of aircraft fuel systems by visual inspection or by removal of panels Repair, reassemble, and install fuel system components Perform operational and functional checks to ensure proper operation Participate in various types of readiness evaluations Perform other duties as assigned Requirements

Areas of Consideration: CAT 4 : All permanent, on-board, Title 32 Employees within the New Jersey National Guard All New Jersey National Guard members (M-Day, Traditional, Active Guard Reserve, and Drill-Status Guardsmen) Individuals eligible for membership in the New Jersey National Guard Military Grades : A1C/E-3 to SSGT/E-5 Selectee has one (1) year to obtain required AFSC. Compatible military grade and assignment required prior to the effective date of placement. This is an excepted service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the employing state’s National Guard. Qualifications

General Experience:

Experience or training which demonstrates knowledge of basic electrical and mechanical principles; knowledge of troubleshooting procedures used to isolate malfunctions in aircraft pneudraulic systems; and ability to use technical manuals, equipment specifications, and test calibration procedures in performing the work. Specialized Experience:

Must at least 18 months of specialized experience which demonstrates basic electrical and mechanical principles. Servicing, maintaining, disassembling assembling, repairing, and testing hydraulic and pneumatic systems Diagnosing trouble and determining remedies Mechanic repairs using hand tools and test equipment Demonstrating the ability to interpret technical manuals, specifications and publications Education
