Pay
| $28.00 - $33.80/hr.
Schedule
| 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM | Monday - Friday
Key Responsibilities
Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC equipment, including monitoring BMS systems and refrigerant operations.
Conduct inspections, testing, and rounds to ensure equipment operates efficiently and safely.
Maintain accurate logs of maintenance, repairs, refrigerant use, and preventive work in CMMS.
Operate tools and equipment safely, including hand tools, power tools, vacuum pumps, and refrigerant recovery systems.
Follow all safety guidelines, including OSHA, lock-out/tag-out, and hazardous material protocols.
Support other technicians with major repairs and assist in optimizing preventive maintenance programs.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment and properly stock vehicles and shop areas.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and customers regarding work progress and equipment status.
Participate in on-call rotations and emergency response as needed.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; 2-year HVAC technical certificate or state-approved license preferred.
Proven experience maintaining industrial/commercial HVAC systems.
EPA Universal Refrigeration License required.
Valid driver's license.
Strong computer skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office and CMMS systems.
Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and equipment manuals.
Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Bilingual (Spanish) a plus.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in confined or elevated spaces.
Work in environments requiring steel-toe shoes, hearing protection, eye protection, and other PPE.
Exposure to varying temperatures, noise, and industrial environments.
