Communicate with or to individuals or groups verbally and/or in writing (e.g., customers, suppliers, associates). Implement the business plan for area of responsibility by communicating goals and managing staffing and scheduling, assigning duties and coordinating workloads to achieve facility goals (e.g., production, quality, safety). Monitor and manage productivity of the area of responsibility by preparing, reviewing, and/or analyzing business reports. Maintain quality and safety standards by ensuring associates are trained on Logistics and company policies, monitoring compliance, and maintaining procedures and supporting documentation. Identify associate, customer and/or supplier concerns and determine corrective action or recommendations to resolve issues. Supervise and develop associates and leaders by assigning duties, coordinating workloads, monitoring performance, providing feedback, and participating in hiring, promotion, coaching, teaching, and evaluation. Respect the individual by building high-performing teams, embracing differences, and creating a workplace with belonging where associates feel seen, supported, and connected; create opportunities for all associates to thrive and perform. Act with integrity by modeling Walmart values, promoting ethics and compliance, and holding oneself and others accountable. Serve customers and members by delivering results with the customer in mind and applying EDLP/EDLC concepts to plans. Associate’s Degree in Business, Logistics, or related field and 1 year of supervisory experience OR Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Logistics, or related field OR 1 year of Walmart Logistics Management experience OR 2 years of Walmart Logistics experience OR 2 years of supervisory experience. Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings, etc.). Preferred qualifications
