Job Summary
Kalman & Company is seeking to hire a Senior Engineer to provide program management services in support of Program Manager Motor Transport efforts. This position is contingent upon contract award and would support DoD clients in Stafford/Quantico, VA. Duties/Responsibilities
Review vendor CDRL submissions that are engineering or technical and advise the customer Review and/or develop Technical Data Packages, including drawings and CAD models of PM MT platforms Develop Engineering Change Proposals, Requests for Variance, Requests for Deviation, etc. in support of safety updates to PM MT systems or updates related to obsolescence / DMSMS Support Technical Interchange meetings Conduct market research on technical items Conduct supportability assessments for interaction with other Program Management Office’s equipment utilized with PM MT platforms Plan, assess, and develop reporting on testing conducted on PM MT platforms Develop SETR products in support of MS events and engineering reviews Advise customer on tailored documentation requirements for MS events and engineering reviews based on MAG guidance and MCSC best practices Familiarity with VIPER and statutory requirements, MIL-STDs, etc. Required Skills/Abilities
Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (ideally mechanical, aeronautical, or electrical), or a related technical discipline; Master’s Degree a plus 5-10 years of relevant experience required, 10+ years desired US Citizenship is required Active Secret Security Clearance or ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance Demonstrated ability to clearly articulate information both verbally and in writing Exceptional interpersonal skills: ability to work with a wide audience Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Proven ability to manage tasks/prioritize work to meet deadlines Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software Advanced Excel skills Familiarity with MBSE and related tools Familiarity with CAD desired Additional Information
