Electronics Technician 3
to join our
Security and Electronic Systems (SES)
business unit. As part of
(SES)
Strategic Business Unit, you will be part of a team that designs, engineers, integrates, operates, and maintains electronic security services including intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, video surveillance, audio visual, IT systems, perimeter defense, and command and control systems for federal, local, and commercial clients across high-growth markets. Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining electronic security systems, performing preventive maintenance, inspections, evaluations, and inventory management. Leading teams on small to moderately complex installation projects. Conducting and documenting daily toolbox talks. Installing all head end equipment at local and global levels per design packages. Programming head end equipment for Access Control, Intrusion Detection, and CCTV systems. Troubleshooting and isolating system and hardware issues locally and globally. Performing inspections, evaluations, and inventory management. Qualifications
Clearance/Citizen Type:
Active Top Secret Clearance required with SCI eligibility. Key Requirements: HS diploma or GED, Military Electronics Training (minimum 720 classroom hours), graduation from an accredited Electronics Technician program, or graduation from an Electrical Apprenticeship program. Additional three (3) years of electronics installation and/or maintenance experience. Required Progressive Experience: 6+ years of electronics installation and/or maintenance across multiple systems and client programs. At least 3 years focused on electronic security systems. Strong oral, written, and presentation skills. Experience working with multidisciplinary teams. Effective time management and organizational skills. Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is a plus. Willingness to travel up to 50%. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Desired Qualifications: Vendor certifications in IDS, ACS, CCTV systems (e.g., CCURE, Lenel, Bosch, etc.) and experience in installing these systems. Abilities
Ability to lift, carry, and move objects up to 50 pounds regularly. Capability to relocate a 12-foot stepladder unaided. Work at heights up to 60 feet, including climbing scaffolds, lifts, and ladders. Physical ability to perform routine tasks like walking, climbing, lifting, and reaching. Good vision (corrected if necessary), color vision, hearing, and communication skills in English. Ability to recognize potential issues and apply general rules to specific problems.
