Job Overview

Artemis CoPack is a 67,000 sq. ft. cannabis co‑packing and processing facility located in Lower Lake, CA. Our solventless Manufacturing department specializes in large‑scale manufacturing and white labeling, solventless (type 6) extraction, and automated packaging for some of the top brands in California. The Manufacturing Technician will play a critical role in the extraction and production of premium solventless products, including ice water hash, fresh press and cold‑cured live rosin, aged hashish, and mechanical separations for dry sift applications. This role requires strong attention to detail, precision, and a deep respect for both process and product quality. The ideal candidate thrives in a structured, clean, and fast‑paced lab environment.

Responsibilities

Perform daily solventless extraction operations, including ice water extraction, sieving, freeze drying, pressing, and other post‑processing activities

Operate and maintain lab equipment in accordance with manufacturing specifications and company SOPs

Weigh, package, and label finished products according to client specifications and ensuring DCC compliance

Perform quality checks on packaged products to ensure they meet quality standards and regulatory compliance

Ensure proper labeling, storage, and tracking of all production batches through METRC and internal batch tracking systems

Adhere to strict safety and sanitation standards in the lab areas to maintain cleanroom standards

Support daily production goals and proactively communicate any issues to supervisors or the QA/QC team

Qualifications

Must be 21 years of age or older (as per legal requirements)

Must be able to pass a Live Scan and criminal background check

High school diploma or equivalent

1–2+ years of hands‑on solventless experience in cannabis manufacturing is a plus

Knowledge of cannabis regulations and compliance is highly desirable

Attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy

Strong organizational and time‑management skills

Ability to work in a fast‑paced and regulated environment

Willingness to learn and understand new processes

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

Manual dexterity for pre‑roll production and packaging tasks

Cannabis and cannabis particulate is a known allergen. Exposed to environments with high concentration of airborne particulate matter. This position is not recommended for individuals with asthma, or a known sensitivity/allergy to cannabis

Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time
