As a Civil Construction Inspector I, your responsibilities will include:
Conducting and documenting observations of construction progress on civil projects such as roads, bridges, water/wastewater facilities, pump stations, and pipelines.
Monitoring, recording, and inspecting construction progress.
Coordinating field materials sampling and testing, including concrete slump and air testing, casting concrete test cylinders, and soil compaction testing.
Working under general supervision from the Senior Inspector.
Performing additional duties as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
Technical school or Associate degree.
Some experience in construction inspection.
Ability to interpret construction schedules.
Required Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent.
Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Strong written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team.
Pass drug screening and comply with testing policies.
