The Opportunity

This is a hands‑on, technical role where you’ll shape the next generation of flow control and measurement systems. As the Mechanical Engineering Lead, you will own complex mechanical product designs that integrate fluid dynamics, electronics, and precision mechanical systems. What You’ll Do

Lead mechanical design of flow and pressure instrumentation, including valves, laminar flow elements, and electromechanical assemblies Collaborate closely with firmware, electrical, software, and test engineers to drive new product development and sustain existing product lines Develop and interpret 3D CAD designs in SolidWorks and perform FEA and CFD simulations using ANSYS, COMSOL, or SolidWorks Simulation Design products for accuracy, repeatability, and manufacturability, integrating electronics into mechanical systems Conduct design verification, testing, and DFMEA, incorporating experimental data into design improvements Mentor and guide a small team of mechanical engineers, fostering technical growth and collaboration Engage with external suppliers to prototype and validate precision mechanical components Support continuous improvement initiatives and innovative problem‑solving in a highly technical, collaborative environment What We’re Looking For

BS in Mechanical Engineering (MS is a plus) 8+ years of mechanical engineering/design experience Strong experience with SolidWorks, FEA, and CFD Deep technical understanding of mechanical and electrical systems Experience with prototyping, testing, and integrating simulation data into designs Leadership potential and ability to mentor engineers while remaining hands‑on Excellent communication skills, able to collaborate across functions and with external clients Seniority level
