FL- FWC-TLH-Mail Room-Maintenance Mechanic Join to apply for the FL- FWC-TLH-Mail Room-Maintenance Mechanic role at SnapCode Inc Job Description
Performs daily inspections of the Bryant Building HVAC systems and related components; performs minor repairs to HVAC systems and components; reports major malfunctions to the direct supervisor. Performs minor repairs and modifications to Bryant Building plumbing, electrical systems, and other equipment, including adding or removing outlets, lighting fixtures, lighting ballast, replacing light bulbs, replacing flush valves, and thermostat adjustments. Performs preventive maintenance on Bryant Building equipment and maintains related documentation (air filters, lubrication, shaft bearings). Performs and records monthly inspections of Bryant Building Life Safety components (fire extinguishers, Emergency Lights, Exit Lights, and Fire Doors). Performs daily inspections of interior and exterior areas and the janitorial service, assists with office relocations and assembly of office furniture, maintains the Bryant Building security system, and coordinates with outside contractors as needed. Acts as point of contact for Agency staff in the Koger Center Office complex and reports maintenance issues promptly. On-Call assignment: remains available to return to work during off-duty periods. Carry Agency-issued cell phone to respond to after-hours maintenance or emergencies for the Bryant Building. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
MUST have commercial building maintenance experience (not residential). Knowledge of the principles and techniques of skilled building trades or mechanical repair work. Knowledge of safety procedures required in maintenance and repair work. Skill in using tools and equipment in maintenance and repair work. Ability to perform a variety of skilled trades functions. Ability to read blueprints. Ability to install, maintain and repair electric motors, generators and other mechanical equipment. Ability to take accurate measurements. Ability to follow instructions. Ability to operate automobiles. Ability to bend and lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to climb to install/repair equipment. Skills working with a personal computer. Ability to be On-Call during an off-duty period. Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Must pass a level 2 background and MVR required. 5 years of experience in maintenance and repair of buildings, plumbing, electrical, and/or mechanical equipment. Additional Information
