This individual will be involved with the machining of a variety of materials to produce parts that meet dimensional and workmanship standards per Laitram Machine Shop's Quality Management System. Laitram . Responsibilities
Load stock into CNC machine work holding devices and monitor the machining process. Perform visual and physical inspection of parts produced per Laitram Machine Shop Quality Management System. Perform accurate transactions (clock on, clock off, entering quantities, closing out operation when done, filling in appropriate paperwork). Clean equipment used and keep the work area clean and organized. Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent. Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, working with fractions). Self-managed and able to work well independently or in a team environment. Flexible and responsive to changing demands. Excellent time management skills. Strong verbal and written communications skills. Basic computer skills. Ability to perform essential job requirements, including the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Desired Qualifications
Experience using inspection tooling (micrometers, calipers, gauges) to accurately measure part features. Blueprint reading skills. Knowledge of G and M codes. Experience with manual and automated CMMs. Experience with GD&T. Experience with FDM 3D Printing. Benefits
