Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical control system malfunctions in pump systems, electric motors, including single and three-phase AC/DC motors and controls. Analyze circuitry, PLCs, VFDs, and other control components to identify and resolve issues. Install and configure new electrical control systems for motors and pumps. Program and set up PLCs and VFDs for optimal performance. Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for electrical control systems. Conduct inspections and tests to identify potential issues and prevent failures. Provide technical support to customers on control system operation and troubleshooting. Assist customers in optimizing motor and pump system performance. Ensure compliance with electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards during installations and repairs. Maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your team. Qualifications
At least 5 years of experience troubleshooting, programming, and maintaining electrical control systems. At least 5 years of experience troubleshooting and maintaining pumps and electrical motors. Ability to lift, move, and carry up to 50 lbs unassisted. Note: This job description is not exhaustive. Employees may be asked to perform other duties as assigned by their supervisor.
