Requires a U.S. Person (lawful permanent resident, protected individual, or U.S. citizen/national).

Work Environment Work largely under minimal supervision in a designated cell. Responsibilities include disassembly, cleaning, inspection, assembly, and final preparation of at least 80% of components (Electric Power, Accessories). Resolve most questions and problems, serve as a resource on several topics, and refer only the most complex issues to higher levels.

Responsibilities

Participate in continuous improvement and environmental, health, and safety activities.

Understand and meet individual and departmental performance goals; work closely with supervisors to resolve problems.

Enter and retrieve information from the operating SAP system for daily tasks.

Demonstrate safe work habits and maintain a neat, orderly work area.

Follow specific instructions and use required equipment to perform assigned work according to FAA and company regulations.

Interact with customers (government personnel or auditors) as necessary; inspect and disposition components and modules.

Rework, repair, scrap, and replace or order components, modules, and LRUs as required.

Assemble, disassemble, clean, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair all types of manufactured electronic accessory components, including testing.

Check clearances, tolerances, and alignment; make necessary replacements and adjustments to assure conformance to specified configurations.

Record data to accept or reject criteria; identify proper parts with part number and serialization.

Verify electrical continuity, insulation resistance testing, and dielectric testing of electronic and mechanical devices.

Independently follow through on job assignments, resolving questions and problems.

Support EH&S, Quality, and HR Employee Engagement initiatives and programs.

Train on 1st Shift for approximately 90 days (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM).

Required Qualifications

High school diploma (or equivalent such as GED) or vocational/technical education in a related discipline with at least 1 year of relevant experience.

Experience with technical sheets, work instructions, or blueprints.

Preferred Qualifications

Minimum 2–3 years of work experience in the aerospace industry; preference for Fuel System Equipment experience.
