$80,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr Top dollar paid! We are seeking another A-level or GM Master technician for our busy service department. If you are looking to be paid what your talent and work ethic demonstrate, then this is the position you have been looking for. We have the work, structure, and pay plan to reward the right technician looking to bring their skills to this shop. If you are the type who likes to pass on your knowledge to the younger techs a working foreman opportunity is possible as well. In this role, you will diagnose a wide range of issues and make repairs to engines, transmissions, and suspensions, as well as electronic systems, such as brakes and steering. Our customers drive many different kinds of cars and medium duty trucks—both gas and diesel, so you must be comfortable working on a variety of makes and models. In addition to mechanical skills, you need excellent customer service skills to explain repairs and suggest preventative maintenance to our service advisors. Applicants must maintain their GM certification and have a valid driver's license. Responsibilities

Knowledge of Reynolds and Reynolds (advanced service) is not required, but a plus! Ability to understand evaporation systems, secondary air systems, charge pressure control systems, electric power steering systems, abs/traction control systems and suspension control systems. Experience as a technician in GMC/ Chevrolet shop Understand suspension geometry and be able to identify bent or damaged suspension components. Strong diagnostic, problem-solving skills and climate control understanding. Replace and balance tires Assist with oil changes and inspections if necessary Master level training or able to complete within the next physical quarter Strong driveability diagnostics - must be able to diagnose transmission concerns, misfires, drive-line concerns and cooling/ac concerns. Understanding of GM warranty, policies and procedures. Qualifications

Experience as a GM technician or in a GMC/Chevrolet service environment Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills; ability to work on engines, transmissions, suspensions, electronic systems Valid driver's license GM certification maintenance required Excellent communication and customer service skills Benefits
