Electrical Engineer – Owner’s Representative
ERSG is actively hiring for a skilled Electrical Engineer to act as the Owner's Representative on a utility-scale solar project. This is a site-based role in Oregon.
Base Pay Range $45.00/hr – $50.00/hr
Responsibilities
Oversee and review EPC and consultant electrical designs.
Ensure compliance with NEC, IEEE, NESC, UL, and utility interconnection standards.
Represent the owner during design reviews, equipment procurement, construction, and commissioning.
Review submittals, technical drawings, and test reports for electrical equipment (inverters, transformers, switchgear, relays).
Support utility interconnection studies and coordinate with grid operators.
Track project progress, budgets, and technical deliverables; prepare clear status updates for stakeholders.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or related engineering degree.
2+ years of experience in power systems, renewable energy, or electrical infrastructure projects.
Experience with solar, or battery storage systems.
Proficiency in tools such as ETAP, SKM, AutoCAD, or PVSyst.
Strong communication, problem‑solving, and project coordination skills.
Rotation 4 days off each month with up to $500 expense reimbursement.
