Pile Driving Foreman – Primoris Heavy Civil – Louisiana Overview

Pile Driving Foreman – Bridge Project (Louisiana). Primoris Heavy Civil is looking for a driven Foreman to lead pile driving crews on a major bridge project in Louisiana. Heavy civil experience is a plus—but leadership, hustle, and a knack for keeping crews on track matter most. If you're ready to take charge and drive progress, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

Provide overall support and leadership to pile driving crews on the project site.

Work closely with Superintendents to identify and mitigate project issues affecting safety, quality, budget, and schedule.

Set daily work objectives aligned with the schedule and communicate them to the crew, encouraging input.

Schedule and request needed personnel for timely project completion in coordination with the superintendent.

Determine and recommend improvements in methods, schedules, and procedures where practical on the project.

Inspect materials on delivery to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.

Ensure material delivery to the construction site per established agreements and in a timely fashion.

Meet contract specifications and company quality standards.

Report daily time of crew, equipment, and materials used, as well as quantities of work completed.

Report any extra work, back charges to subcontractors, or delays caused by owner, utility company, or others.

Perform other related duties as required or assigned by supervision.

Travel as required (e.g., meetings, site construction support, training).

Qualifications

3–5 years’ experience as a working foreman.

Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with team members, suppliers, and project stakeholders.

Strong organizational, planning, and time-management skills; ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks concurrently.

Driven and self-motivated problem solver.

Open to learn new processes and procedures.

Physical Requirements

Must comply with the company’s drug and alcohol abuse policy.

Must be able to pass physical examination, pre-employment if necessary, and as required by the company.

Able to climb and maintain balance on ladders, scaffolding, stairways, etc.

Stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or work at elevated heights as well as in confined spaces.

Able to carry 50 lbs. of tools and/or materials; seek assistance for items over 50 lbs where needed.

Must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time.

Must be able to work extended hours on uneven surfaces.

Must be able to work while wearing a respirator and other PPE when required.

Work Environment

Location: Highway and Bridge construction sites and/or fabrication shop

Mobility barriers to access job site

Predominantly outdoor climate

Possible extreme hot or cold weather
