Operate molding press/equipment while following company procedures Review the Operator Display Board prior to running production for work instructions and Quality Alerts Ensure product meets established quality criteria with focus on zero non-conformances Correctly record scrap every hour when instructed Apply internal and external labels correctly when required; remove old labels on returnable packaging Apply lot control numbers accurately Review applicable quality alerts daily Notify the Supervisor of discrepancies in quality checks Report production and quality issues during communication meetings Keep work area clean and organized Participate in team problem-solving activities Follow all internal and OSHA-required safety procedures Report to work on time Follow shop rules, procedures, and policies Per the company, duties may be updated or changed at management’s discretion Qualifications
High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience/training; or equivalent combination Plastic Injection Molding background is helpful Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos; ability to write simple correspondence Ability to present information clearly in one-on-one and small group settings Basic math skills (add, subtract, simple multiplication/division) Ability to follow detailed or simple written/oral instructions Physical Requirements
Frequent standing or walking for long periods Frequent lifting or lowering up to 35 lbs Frequent reaching, bending, and stooping Occasional crouching Working Conditions
Exposure to moving mechanical parts; avoid loose-fitting clothing Occasional exposure to extreme heat and vibration Moderate noise level May be required to work outside for short periods Benefits
