Electronics Technician 3 – Aurora, CO (Security Clearance)
We’re seeking an Electronics Technician 3 to join our Security and Electronic Systems (SES) business unit. As part of the SES Strategic Business Unit you will be part of a team that designs, engineers, integrates, operates and maintains electronic security services inclusive of intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, video surveillance, audio visual, IT systems, perimeter defense and command and control systems for federal, local and commercial customers across high‑growth markets.
Responsibilities
Executes various technical tasks and responsibilities within field operations.
Performs on‑site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of equipment and systems.
Ensures the functionality and reliability of various technologies.
Conducts site surveys, configures hardware and software, tests systems for proper operation, and provides technical support to customers.
Utilizes and comprehends project safety plan (JHA, AHA, PFW), enforcing M.C. Dean handbook and policies.
Participates in quality reviews of M.C. Dean design documentation, analyzing and interpreting drawing packages to evaluate constructability.
Tracks project metrics and participates in weekly resource allocation meetings.
Verifies correct charges in timesheets on projects.
Executes installation and maintenance activities within planned durations, ensuring completion of detailed documentation.
Tracks and inventories tools, conducts tool inspections, and organizes material ordering and receiving.
Conducts daily ORM meetings, ensures team compliance with safety requirements, and completes accident/incident reporting.
Participates in PITCO plan creation and build out, executing PITCO plan to ensure high‑quality testing and installation.
Installs system raceway, cabling, equipment racks, enclosures, and panels, adhering to industry standards.
Terminates, tests, and configures electronic devices, network and IT equipment.
Manages base switch configurations, participates in configuration of servers and workstations, and troubleshoots programmable components.
Ensures compliance with established QC plans and checklists, conducting quality control inspections and documenting findings.
Installs and maintains field devices, terminates and tests system components, and troubleshoots copper and fiber optic issues.
Leads commissioning efforts, tracks commissioning activities, and assists in representing M.C. Dean in meetings with owners and design teams.
Communicates consistently with MC Dean Project Teams, other trades, and customers, demonstrating dedication and collaboration.
Leads by example, provides constructive feedback, mentors crew members, and encourages strategic thinking and innovation.
Demonstrates strong communication, interpersonal, and time‑management skills, aligning with M.C. Dean's vision, mission, and values.
Provides look ahead for assignment of manpower, material procurement/staging and resource planning.

Qualifications
Clearance/Citizen Type: Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and may meet eligibility requirements, including US citizenship, for access to classified information; ACTIVE SECRET Clearance with the ability to obtain a polygraph is required.
Education: HS diploma or GED; Military Electronics Training (minimum 720 classroom hours) or Graduation from an accredited Electronics Technician program or Graduation from an Electrical Apprenticeship program; An additional three (3) years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities.
Required Progressive Experience: 6+ years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities on multiple systems and with multiple customer programs.
Strong Oral, Written and Presentation Skills.
Demonstrated background working with multidisciplinary teams.
Demonstrated time management and organization skills to meet deadlines and quality objectives.
Strong MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills is a plus.
Valid driver’s license; acceptable driving record in accordance to our policy.
Vendor certifications in multiple IDS, ACS, and CCTV systems (CCURE, Lenel, Identiv/Hirsch Velocity, Bosch Radionics, Bosch CCTV, Bosch BVMS, AIphone Intercom Systems Airphone, FFT, DIVAR, Windows operating systems & certifications). 3 years experience focused in electronic security systems; OSHA 30 certification.

Walks, climbs, lifts, squats, crawls, kneels, pushes, pulls and reaches overhead on a routine and repetitive basis.
Possess good vision (may be corrected vision), the ability to see in color, and the ability to hear and communicate in English.
May use a standard ladder without exceeding the weight limit while carrying tools.
Pay Range USD 32.00 – USD 46.42 / Hr.
