The Landscape Partnership is seeking a skilled Landscape Architect with strong landscape planning expertise to fill a
senior-level role
within our
multidisciplinary team
of professionals, including landscape architects, urban designers, environmental planners, ecologists, and arboriculturists. Established in 1986, we are a
multi award-winning
landscape design and environmental planning practice dedicated to delivering comprehensive assessments that inform high-quality, context-driven, and sustainable design solutions. We invite Chartered Landscape Architects with recognized
expertise in landscape planning . Experience or interest in developing
expert witness skills
is desirable. This role offers an opportunity to lead our landscape planning services and provides clear pathways for career advancement, especially for those eager to take on leadership responsibilities. While the primary focus is landscape planning, involvement in various project phases—from planning and design to implementation—may also be part of the role. Our current portfolio covers sectors such as residential, commercial, renewable energy, public realm, education, recreation, care, hospitality, and urban greening. Projects include feasibility studies, landscape character assessments, green infrastructure strategies, strategic site developments, green belt appraisals, LVIA & EIA, and land allocations from feasibility to planning applications and appeals. Requirements
CMLI Excellent written and analytical skills Deep understanding of the planning system Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborative working Leadership and client management skills, with business development aptitude Knowledge of all project stages and iterative design processes Valid UK driving license Right to work in the UK We are open to full-time or part-time applications (minimum 3 days/week). The role can be based at any of our offices, with flexible hybrid working options (minimum 3 days in the office).
