Overview
Maintenance and Engineering Technician III (Electro-Mechanical) at Lineage. Responsibilities
Maintain and troubleshoot all systems and subsystems of the repack automated assembly lines including conveyors, pneumatic systems and electrical systems. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and control system components, including sensors. Perform preventive maintenance, calibration, and adjustments to ensure system reliability. Replace and repair conveyor mechanical components (chains, belts, rollers, drive motors) and control system sensors (photo-eyes, proximity, electronic sensors). Document maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage in CMMS and report issues to management with estimated repair timelines. Assist and train technicians in troubleshooting and repair procedures. Ensure a clean and organized work environment by removing replaced parts and maintaining equipment areas. Work safely in cold environments and at heights, following all company safety protocols. Collaborate and create troubleshooting and repair procedures for all equipment. Technical Requirements
Strong working knowledge of 480V, 277V, and 120V electrical systems (single and three-phase). Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical diagrams, and Illustrated Parts Breakdowns. Mechanical and electrical aptitude to replace and maintain RGV and crane components. Experience with CMMS and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Physical ability to perform equipment inspections, mechanical repairs, and component replacements. Perform physical inspection and calibration, preventative maintenance, and repairs on all mechanical and electrical assets impacting the operation of the facility, physical structure, and exterior grounds. Maintain reporting of inspections, evaluations, preventive maintenance procedures and communicate all pertinent information regarding equipment operation and maintenance to leadership daily. Operate power tools, cutting torch and other welding apparatus to cut or join metal parts. Utilize onsite motorized lift and rental equipment as needed while operating, inspecting, calibrating, and maintaining equipment. Physical Requirements
Ability to work in varying temperatures as low as -2 Fahrenheit. Ability to work in confined spaces and working at heights up to 100 feet. Ability to lift 50 lbs. Qualifications
5 years’ experience or combination of experience and trade school in electro-mechanical technology, mechatronics, automation, robotics, or automotive. Capable of completing all maintenance tasks in a safe and reliable manner with minimal to no supervision. Fully proficient with, and capable of operating power and hand tools, calibrated devices and inspection tools. Ability to interact and communicate with all levels of the facility. Possess problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload with demonstrated organizational skills. Ability to work in temperatures as low as -2 Fahrenheit while wearing company provided PPE and freezer gear. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
