As they continue to mindfully grow, they are seeking a talented Electrical Estimator for growing project work in the Las Vegas/Henderson area. Ideal candidates will come from a self‑perform contractor with data center, commercial, or industrial expertise.

Experienced Electrical Estimator needed to support cost estimation efforts for electrical installations across industrial, commercial, and mission‑critical projects. This role involves preparing and analyzing bids, collaborating with vendors, and supporting project management throughout the pre‑construction and turnover phases.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze blueprints and specifications to determine material needs, wire lengths, and outlet placements in compliance with electrical codes
Prepare and distribute bid packages to vendors and evaluate received quotes for accuracy
Perform detailed material and labor takeoffs using Trimble Estimation software
Review project scope and estimates with management, draft bid letters, and coordinate with clients throughout the bid process
Partner with project managers to facilitate a smooth handoff and assist with submittals and change orders as needed
Identify cost‑saving strategies and provide recommendations to improve project profitability
Maintain and update internal cost databases to reflect current labor and material pricing
Assess labor and material costs to determine in‑house versus subcontractor fabrication options
Qualifications:
Minimum of 4 years of experience in commercial estimating and project management
Experiencing bidding jobs up to $15M
Strong understanding of electrical trade practices and the National Electrical Code (NEC)
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word), Bluebeam, and Accubid
Demonstrated experience with Trimble Estimation software
Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and technical drawings
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
High attention to detail and strong customer service orientation
