Professional Water Resources Engineer
to join our clients' team in
Eastern Idaho . This role offers the opportunity to work on impactful water infrastructure projects in a collaborative, growth-oriented environment. The firm has a strong regional presence and supports cross-office collaboration, providing a broad platform for professional development. Key Responsibilities: Lead and support the planning, design, and construction of water resources projects, with a focus on irrigation infrastructure. Typical projects include master planning, hydraulic modeling, and the design of pipelines, canals, pump stations, hydraulic structures, wells, small dams, and storage ponds. Assist with business development by building client relationships and contributing to proposal preparation. Develop scopes of work, contracts, and design budgets. Coordinate with clients, operators, regulatory and funding agencies, and contractors to meet project goals. Participate in client and public meetings to communicate project details and gather input. Conduct fieldwork such as construction observation, equipment monitoring, and site reconnaissance. Supervise and mentor junior staff including engineers-in-training, drafters, and field personnel. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil, Water Resources, or Environmental Engineering. Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.). 5+ years of relevant civil engineering experience. Strong communication and writing skills. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment. Compensation: Salary Range:
$94,000 - $135,000 annually, based on experience.
