Electronics Technician 4

to join our

Security and Electronic Systems (SES)

business unit. As part of SES, you will be involved in designing, engineering, integrating, operating, and maintaining electronic security services, including intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, video surveillance, audiovisual, IT systems, perimeter defense, and command and control systems for federal, local, and commercial clients across high-growth markets. Responsibilities Install and maintain electronic security systems, perform preventive maintenance, inspections, evaluations, and inventory management. Lead teams on large, complex installation projects with minimal supervision. Conduct and document daily toolbox talks, ORM, and safety audits. Install and maintain equipment locally and globally according to design packages. Program and install head-end equipment for access control, intrusion detection, and CCTV systems. Troubleshoot and isolate system and hardware issues at local and global levels. Lead on-site software commissioning and testing. Perform inspections, evaluations, inventory, take-offs from project drawings, create and track RFIs, provide design feedback, document daily reports, and project progress. Communicate project and team issues to management. Create and manage project schedules, integrate IDS, ACS, and CCTV systems, forecast and manage labor hours, and mentor technicians. Qualifications Clearance/Citizen Type:

No clearance required Key Requirements: Valid driver's license; may require use of a company vehicle. Acceptable driving record per company policy. Education: HS diploma or GED, military electronics training (minimum 720 hours), graduation from an accredited electronics technician or electrical apprenticeship program, plus three years of electronics installation/maintenance experience. Experience: Minimum 8 years of electronics installation/maintenance across multiple systems and customer programs. At least 3 years focused on electronic security systems. Strong communication, teamwork, time management, and organizational skills. Proficiency in MS Office is a plus. Willingness to travel up to 50%. Preferred Certifications: Vendor certifications in IDS, ACS, CCTV systems (e.g., CCURE, Lenel, Bosch, etc.), and experience with Windows operating systems.
