We are currently seeking a
Civil Engineer 1
for our Residential teams in Marietta. Responsibilities:
Perform civil design tasks such as grading, drainage, paving, geometric design, utility design, etc., including sketches, technical comparisons, and related work. Prepare applications, reports, and calculations supporting the design of various projects, including retail centers, multi-family developments, schools, industrial sites, residential, and mixed-use developments. Review and coordinate drawings supplied by vendors, clients, and architects. Research codes and collaborate with City, County, and State officials. Travel may be required for meetings, project sites, or other business functions. Assist with other duties as assigned by Project Engineers or Managers. Requirements:
Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering. EIT certification is encouraged but not required. Minimum of 1 year of industry-related work experience. Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D is essential. Self-starter, collaborative, and willing to work on various project types. Project experience in site development is preferred but not mandatory. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
