This position is 100% onsite. The selected candidate will work with the Mobility, Surveillance, and Bombers programs and must obtain a U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. Secret).
Position Responsibilities
Apply an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop, and verify complex lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions.
Evaluate customer/operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters, and assure compatibility of all physical, functional, and program interfaces.
Perform analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture.
Analyze reliability, maintainability, diagnostics, system health, testability, and other specialty quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success.
Develop, maintain, and identify improvements for planning, organization, implementation, and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management, and technology readiness assessment processes.
Resolve cross‑functional technical issues.
Basic Qualifications (Required)
Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
3+ years of experience with Systems Engineering principles.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
Strong communication and writing skills.
Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams at multiple levels.
Critical thinking skills; ability to work in an agile, flexible team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience using Systems Engineering V to implement a system onto a product.
Experience in System Engineering requirements and verifications.
2+ years of Reliability, Maintainability, and System Health experience.
Experience in Failure Mode Effect Analysis, Reliability & Maintainability predictions, and/or Reliability Testing activities.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, MATLAB/Simulink, Boeing RAMC, Vanderbilt FACT run‑time reasoning tools.
Experience with MIL‑HDBK‑217F Reliability Prediction Electronic Equipment.
Electrical engineering background and/or coursework.
Master’s degree in engineering, statistics, mathematics, systems engineering or related disciplines.
Experience with MIL‑STD‑1629 Rev A Procedure for FMEA.
Shift & Location Shift: 1st shift (United States of America). Location: Oklahoma City, OK – 100% onsite.
Benefits & Compensation Base pay range: $90,950 – $123,050 plus variable compensation. Boeing offers health insurance, flexible spending accounts, HSA, retirement plans, life and disability insurance, and paid/unpaid time off as per eligibility.
