Mechanical Engineer: We\'re growing and looking for a Mechanical Engineer with a few years of hands-on experience to help drive improvements in our product design and manufacturing operations.
Position Summary: This role is ideal for a mechanical engineer with 3+ years of industry experience who is ready to take the next step in their career. You\'ll work on enhancing the design and manufacturability of window and door systems while supporting process improvements on the production floor.
Key Responsibilities
Support the design and development of window and door components using SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar tools
Assist in optimizing product performance, material selection, and cost-effectiveness
Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to solve manufacturing challenges
Improve and document manufacturing processes, jigs, and tooling
Help create and maintain technical drawings, BOMs, and assembly instructions
Participate in testing for structural performance, durability, and compliance with standards
Interact with suppliers and vendors to ensure parts meet design requirements
Job Requirements Qualifications:
Bachelor"s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or product design environment (windows/doors manufacturing preferred)
Proficient in 2D/3D CAD design; SolidWorks or AutoCAD preferred
Familiar with manufacturing processes such as assembly, extrusion, and CNC machining
Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills
Detail-oriented with a passion for continuous improvement
Must be bilingual in English & Spanish
Nice to Have:
Exposure to lean manufacturing or Six Sigma practices
Understanding of industry codes and standards related to windows and doors
Annual Salary Range: $75,000-$90,000/year
