AirHeads HVAC – Lead HVAC Technician
AirHeads HVAC, a family‑run business in Central Texas since 2007, is seeking an experienced full‑time Lead HVAC Technician to deliver excellent customer service while performing maintenance on residential heating and cooling equipment and helping with installs. Hours are Mon‑Fri 7:30 am–5:30 pm, with required weekends, overtime, and evening hours.
Compensation and Benefits Salary: $19.00–$30.00 per hour, based on experience, plus spiffs and bonuses. Benefits include paid vacation, holidays, a company‑matched Roth IRA, health insurance, a company phone, vehicle, uniforms, continuous company‑paid training, and year‑round work. A $5,000 bonus is awarded for five or more years of experience and $3,000 for 3 to 5 years, paid out over 90, 180, and 365 days.

Qualifications of a Lead HVAC Technician
Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a service technician working on heating and air conditioning equipment.
EPA certified.
High school diploma or equivalent.
A valid driver’s license, insurable driving record, and ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Comfortable reading and interpreting wiring diagrams/blueprints, using a variety of equipment and troubleshooting techniques.
Ability to acquire a low voltage license within 2 years of employment and NATE certification within 1st year of employment.
Basic knowledge of sheet metal practices, air balancing principles, and safety.
Willingness to attend continuing education training and seminars.
Additional Desired Qualifications A universal EPA certification, HVAC technical school completion, and NATE certification are pluses. If you have 3 to 5 years of industry experience and your own tools, you’re desired. Good communication skills and the ability to explain technical information in layman’s terms are required.
