Position Details
Start Date: ASAP for the 25/26 school year
Hours: Full‑time (37.5 hours/week); part‑time candidates considered
Grade Levels: K‑5 students
Compensation: Starting at $47/hour (commensurate with experience)
Benefits available for full‑time employees (30 hrs)
12‑month and 9‑month pay options available
Location: 100% On‑Site
CFY Candidates: Will be considered
Competitive pay includes non‑taxable pay for providers living over 50 miles from district

Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' speech, language, and communication abilities.
Develop individualized therapy plans and goals based on assessment results.
Provide direct therapy services targeting articulation, phonology, language comprehension, fluency, and pragmatic skills.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and the educational team to support students' communication goals in classroom and other settings.
Incorporate evidence‑based techniques and therapeutic activities into sessions to promote development.
Monitor progress and adjust plans as needed for optimal outcomes.
Document sessions, progress reports, and related information in a timely manner.
Participate in IEP meetings and provide input regarding students' speech and language needs.
Qualifications
Master's degree in Speech‑Language Pathology from an accredited program.
Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech‑Language Pathologist.
Current ASHA certification required.
Experience providing speech‑language therapy in a school or pediatric setting.
Proficiency in assessment tools and therapeutic techniques commonly used in pediatric SLP.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate with students, parents, and staff.
Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
Knowledge of AAC systems and assistive technology (preferred).
