Physician Liaison

Base pay range:
$50,000.00/hr - $65,000.00/hr
Position Overview We are seeking a dynamic Physician Liaison to support our marketing efforts and foster relationships within the healthcare community. This role will focus on building and maintaining connections with healthcare providers to enhance patient referrals, increase census, and drive revenue. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator with a strong background in business development, sales, or healthcare marketing.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage a database of qualified leads through business‑to‑business sales, cold calling, networking, and relationship building within the local healthcare community.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective providers, including physicians, surgeons, case managers, and other healthcare professionals, by demonstrating integrity, industry knowledge, and accountability.
Conduct regular outreach to secure new referrals, build census, and meet established goals related to new and existing referring healthcare providers.
Communicate effectively with referring physicians and their support teams to meet their needs and ensure seamless coordination of patient care.
Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date marketing records within INSIGHT’s CRM software, tracking interactions and progress.
Maintain a comprehensive understanding of hospital departments and services to communicate relevant offerings to providers.
Regularly collaborate with the Industry Relation Director to ensure alignment of efforts and manage ongoing needs.
Prioritize and manage key accounts, identifying opportunities for growth and communicating insights to the Marketing Manager.
Uphold INSIGHT’s mission, "Patient Care Second to None," in all interactions and daily practices.
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Health‑related Sciences (e.g., nursing, pharmacy), or equivalent experience.
A minimum of two years of sales or business development experience within the healthcare or related industries.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
Strong analytical abilities to compile and present data clearly and concisely.
Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Self‑motivated, able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail and ability to manage resources effectively.
Understanding of the importance of patient confidentiality and a commitment to safeguarding sensitive information.
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster collaborative relationships across teams.
Demonstrated accountability in managing company property, supplies, and equipment.
Consistently meet attendance and punctuality expectations.
Demonstrate a proactive approach to task execution and continuous improvement.
