Overview Now Hiring: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Instructor - Lead, Inspire, and Make a Difference. This role involves teaching and training CNAs within the Career Technical Training Center at Glenmont Job Corps Center, operated by Adams and Associates, to prepare students for full-time jobs, higher education, or advanced training.
Hours Monday - Friday, 7:45 am – 4:45 pm
Responsibilities
Provide students with industry-recognized instruction and training in the Career Technical Training Center leading to full-time employment, higher education, or advanced training.
Deliver quality career-technical training that leads to student placement and assist with job leads and monitoring of graduate placement.
Maintain an organized classroom conducive to student learning and ensure adherence to the center's dress code and conduct standards.
Produce quality work and assignments in a timely, thorough, and accurate manner; maintain attendance and productivity standards.
Plan, prioritize, and organize assignments to meet goals and deadlines; apply job knowledge to responsibilities.
Mentor, monitor, and model Career Success Standards as required by PRH.
Provide supervision and support for the student population; manage behavior and ensure quality programs and services for students.
Communicate clearly and effectively with staff across departments; follow up to ensure issues are resolved.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum one year of teaching or related field experience.
Certified, licensed, or accredited in the state where the center is located, or accredited by a professional trade organization.
For NTC, instructor must be certified by a union or trade organization, or by a national trade certifying organization.
Previous Job Corps experience preferred.
Valid driver's license and insurability requirements.
Physical requirements: ability to sit, stand, climb, walk, lift, push/pull, reach, stoop, crouch; ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
