Lifeline Center for Child Development provides Psychiatric Treatment to children on a green campus in Queens Village. The center hosts a dedicated team of trained clinical professionals collaborating to meet each child's individual needs. Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Child & Family Therapist at Lifeline Center for Child Development located in Queens County, NY. The Child & Family Therapist will engage in day-to-day tasks including providing therapeutic interventions, conducting play therapy, managing individual and group therapy sessions, engaging parents in therapy, and collaborating with other professionals. The therapist will also be responsible for case management and supporting the mental health of children and their families. Qualifications
Experience in Play Therapy and Working With Children Background in Social Work and Mental Health Skills in Case Management Effective communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field (LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, MHC-LP required) Experience in a clinical setting, preferably with children or adolescents Familiarity with psychiatric day treatment environments is a plus Schedule
Tuesdays 11AM - 7PM Fridays & Saturdays 9AM - 5PM Off Sundays & Mondays Seniority level
