Luminis Health Position Objective Contributes to the provision of high-quality, cost-effective health care through the direct care of patients and in collaboration with other members of the health care team. Understands self-motivation in performing basic nursing care. Participates in the team nursing concept, completing tasks as delegated by the assigned nurse.
May be trained to insert IVs on certain shifts/units. Validation of training and skill will be documented upon successful completion.

Provides direct care to patients, focusing on personal hygiene, safety, and comfort. Assists with patient admission, vital signs, disrobing, and orientation. Supports patient discharge procedures, including assisting with dressing and transport. Participates in patient care activities, including vital signs, intake/output, and specimen collection. Recognizes and reports changes in patient condition. Mentors new staff members when needed. Transports medications securely within the facility. Maintains supplies and equipment on the unit. Ensures safe patient transport according to policy. Processes medical orders and communicates urgent requests. Educational/Experience Requirements
High School Diploma or GED One year of CNA experience in an acute care setting preferred. Certification in Medical Interpretation required if serving as a bilingual/multilingual interpreter. Required License/Certifications
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) American Heart Association BLS Working Conditions, Equipment, Physical Demands Exposure to blood-borne pathogens expected. Heavy physical effort required, including lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally. Reasonable accommodations may be provided in accordance with ADA.

Pay Range: $17.50—$26 USD
