Job Summary:
The RN practices guided by the ANA Standards for Professional Nurse and Code of Ethics. Responsibilities include recording patient histories, performing diagnostic tests, administering treatments, and developing care plans. The RN teaches patients and families, delegates tasks, and supports clinical knowledge advancement. Knowledge of stroke-specific care is required for staff responsible for stroke patients, including protocols, NIHSS, and community resources. The RN collects health data systematically, develops and implements evidence-based care plans, and evaluates patient progress. The role involves collaboration with healthcare teams, documentation, quality improvement, and fostering a professional development environment. Ethical principles, cultural competence, and resource management are integral to practice. Qualifications
Associate's Degree or Diploma in Nursing; BSN within 60 months if hired with ADN or Diploma Graduate from an accredited NLN/CCNE institution 1 year RN experience for float positions Arizona RN licensure; BLS certification; unit-specific certifications as required About the company
