Position Summary
Applications are invited for an entry level research assistant position within the Departments of Neurology and Radiology at Washington University in St. Louis. Research focuses on the application of functional MRI methods to neurodegenerative disease. The applicant will make use of established analytic software packages to prepare acquired data for analysis by research staff. Imaging data consists of structural and functional MRI.
Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Use existing analytic software packages (e.g., Freesurfer and others) to prepare acquired data for analysis by the research staff of the laboratory. Transferring files to appropriate server on a routine basis. Review study database to make sure all data has been entered. Observe how to run scripts from image processing under PI and Postdoc. Provide the testing questionnaires to study participants when they arrive for appointment. Assist with statistical computing of image analysis, neuropsychological assessments, demographics and other data to assist the laboratory team. Provide routine data entry ensuring accuracy and completeness.
