Director, Nuclear Medicine Radiologist role at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center. The Nuclear Medicine Section seeks a Board–Eligible, Residency-trained, full-time Nuclear Medicine physician, commencing July 1, 2025. The candidate should have an interest in clinical research in nuclear oncology and grounding in multi-probe PET/CT and image-guided radionuclide therapy, with emphasis on theranostics.
Roswell Park is an NCI-Designated Comprehensive Cancer Center and is affiliated with the State University of New York at Buffalo. The department collaborates with surgical and medical oncologists, radiation medicine physicians, and pathologists to provide multidisciplinary care.
Responsibilities The incumbent will teach residents, fellows, and graduate students at the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences and the Graduate Division of Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center, University at Buffalo. Duties include clinical service in Nuclear Medicine and participation in the development of a premier Theranostics program, including expansion of radiopharmaceutical therapies and expansion of the infusion center within Nuclear Medicine.
Qualifications Required Education and Experience
Medical Doctor degree (MD) and prior full-time experience in Diagnostic Imaging or the specialties of Body Imaging, Diagnostic Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Mammography, Nuclear Medicine, Neuroradiology, or Angio/Interventional Radiology.
License and Certification Requirement
License or permit to practice as a Medical Doctor in the State of New York.
Possession of or eligibility for a valid medical specialty certificate in Diagnostic Imaging or the specialties of Body Imaging, Diagnostic MRI, Mammography, Nuclear Medicine, Neuroradiology, or Angio/Interventional Radiology.
Board Eligibility/Certification in Nuclear Medicine is required. The incumbent must have a Medical Doctor degree and prior full-time experience in the field of Diagnostic Imaging or the listed specialties.
Additional Information Note: Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited school or university recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center.
