Indiana University Health Arnett OB/GYN is seeking to add full‑time Certified Nurse Midwife as they rebuild the historic Certified Nurse‑Midwife Practice located in Lafayette, Indiana. Join a collegial team of 9 OB/GYN physicians, 2 GYN physicians, 3 Nurse Practitioners and 3 Nurse Midwives with a goal of 5 FTE CNMs.
Employment Opportunity Details
Full‑time position, 40‑hour work week.
Sign on bonus and relocation assistance available.
Robust onboarding program with blend of ambulatory and in‑patient care.
Provide full scope of ambulatory services and in‑hospital, midwifery‑led, maternity care caseload.
Provide volume in clinic: approx. 20 patients per full day.
Opportunity to work with a group of experienced RNs who have been exposed to and support physiologic birth.
Option for hydrotherapy and water birth for appropriate candidates.
Strong focus on building and sustaining a culture of collegial relationships between OB/GYNs, CNMs and RNs.
Responsibilities: Focus on women of childbearing age, comprehensive OB/GYN care and common primary care needs.
Ideal candidate will be excited to build a community‑focused program, possess strong communication skills, embrace a collaborative team‑based model, provide a patient‑centered midwifery‑led model of care for low‑risk patients.
Preferred skills with Cerner EMR and ChildWatch but not required.

Active AMCB Certification as a Certified Nurse‑Midwife
Ability to obtain advanced practice/CNM License in IN
Open to new graduates and experienced Certified Nurse‑Midwives
