Interventional Radiology Technologist - Cath Lab

Job Summary Enhance patient care within interventional radiology by providing high‑quality imaging services, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring safe and effective procedural support for pediatric patients.
Location & Schedule Burnet Campus – Full time, Day shift, 40 hours per week.
Responsibilities
Patient Care – Prepare patients, parents, and families for procedures/examinations physically and psychologically; perform procedures/examinations following protocol and guidelines; access and review patient information as required.
Customer Service – Act as a patient advocate; respond promptly to requests; provide education and emotional support to families; maintain a courteous and attentive demeanor.
Resource – Demonstrate competence in specific knowledge, skills, and behaviors; communicate effectively with team members; share expertise and stay updated on system changes.
Communication – Communicate with patients, families, and staff in a courteous manner; provide patient status information as needed; offer emotional support to families.
Process Improvement – Participate in improving departmental performance/quality; recommend and implement changes; collect data and provide input to improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
Registered ARRT (R) or eligible within 6 months of hire.
License by Ohio Department of Health within 30 days of eligibility.
Preferred: Registered ARRT (VI) or Registered ARRT (CI).
Compensation Annualized pay may vary based on FTE status: $28.58 – $36.53.
