Overview Position floats to all 3 locations: Palm Coast, St. Augustine, and Nocatee.
Hours: 8am to 5pm
The Radiology Tech operates imaging equipment and performs diagnostic x-rays as ordered by the physician. Assists in preparing operating/procedure rooms as needed. Documents radiation exposure and test results in the patient's chart.
Responsibilities
Instructs and prepares patients for radiographic/fluoroscopic examinations.
Performs radiological exams accurately, following department standards for technique, positioning, and protocols, including contrast administration.
Ensures high-quality images for interpretation and consults with physicians to optimize results.
Follows protocols and participates in quality control programs.
Completes procedures efficiently and prepares rooms for subsequent procedures.
Performs radiology technician functions according to prescribed procedures.
Ensures compliance with Florida radiological standards and regulations.
Uses and maintains equipment per manufacturer’s specifications and OSHA guidelines.
Cleans, sterilizes, and maintains supplies and equipment, ensuring availability during procedures.
Qualifications
Associate's Degree or Diploma in Radiologic Technology from an AMA-accredited school.
Florida Radiologic Technologist license.
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, required within 30 days of hire.
Preferred: 1 year of radiologic technology experience.
Additional Information Position is entry level, full-time, and in the healthcare industry, primarily in hospitals and healthcare settings.
