Sodexo is seeking a
Clinical Dietitian
for Greater Baltimore Medical Center in
Towson, MD . This role includes order-writing privileges and involves working closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized nutrition plans. Ideal candidates will be flexible, collaborative, and committed to improving patient outcomes through evidence-based practice.
New graduates and experienced dietitians are encouraged to apply!
Reimbursement for AND dues, state licensure fees and CDR renewal
Three weeks of vacation, eight holidays and three personal days paid each year

What You’ll Do
Provide nutritional care for a variety of inpatient units
Practice at your full scope with order writing privileges
Perform quality improvement initiatives
Educate healthcare team member, including physicians and nurses
Precept dietetic interns

What You Bring
Registered Dietitian credentials and be licensed in Maryland (or eligible)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Good time management skills, be a self-starter, and a team player
Ability to work well with physicians, nursing, and ancillary staff

Qualifications & Requirements Minimum Education Requirement:
Master’s degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:
Bachelor’s degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
Credentials Requirement:
Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hireCertification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire
