Facility Maintenance Specialist 1 - PN 20057196 - Garfield Hts., Cuyahoga County What You Will Do: General to complex facility maintenance to include drywall repairs, plumbing repairs, electrical repairs, HVAC repairs, painting, landscaping, and general upkeep. work with a team to accomplish projects Communicate with team members, supervisors, and employees within the district regarding facility maintenance and repairs Who we are looking for: Must be able to work in a team or alone and be self-directed Willingness to learn The ability to communicate clearly with internal and external customers Able to withstand working in various conditions such as cold, heat, rain, and snow Successful completion of post-secondary training in facilities maintenance technology, industrial trades technology, or comparable training program; 1 yr. exp. in construction/building maintenance that included carpentry, electrical, plumbing & HVAC. Note: If the position will be assigned to operate motorized equipment of size & type regulated by Sections 4506.1, 4506.03 & 4506.12 of Ohio Revised Code, the applicant must also have a valid commercial driver license; if required to operate state vehicle must have valid driver license.
