LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to join our client's organization in the Itasca, IL area. Are you a hands‑on maintenance leader with a passion for safety, process improvement, and team development? This is a Maintenance Supervisor role overseeing two facilities (a mile apart) and a team of four (1 lead, 3 temp techs) in a dynamic flex‑pack manufacturing environment. You’ll report directly to the General Manager and play a key role in supporting production, troubleshooting equipment, and driving continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities:

Direct daily activities of Maintenance Technicians to support production through machine repair, maintenance, and process troubleshooting Ensure team safety via training and work environment inspections; strong OSHA focus Plan and execute production support priorities in collaboration with Operations and Production Supervisors Oversee machine repair, preventative maintenance, work order completion, upgrades, and facilities maintenance Administer work orders, PM system, and special projects; help build out a new CMMS program Allocate workload and supervise upkeep staff Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot complex/high‑speed manufacturing equipment (electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic) Perform repairs on electrical instruments, install wiring systems, and read/interpret equipment manuals Perform preventative/predictive maintenance and analyze equipment for continuous improvement Schedule and perform corrective maintenance activities; coordinate with production/scheduling for machine time Maintain operation of utility equipment (compressors, water systems) Attend morning huddles at 7:30am; occasional Saturday hours may be required Qualifications:

5+ years’ experience in a maintenance supervisory role within a manufacturing environment Hands‑on leadership style Safety and OSHA experience Electrical & mechanical knowledge, including pneumatics and hydraulics Strong working knowledge of 480v and 240v systems Experience planning maintenance operations Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Benefits Overview:
